A complaint has been made to the police headquarters asking for an investigation into whether the Asia Cup finals held in Colombo had been betrayed.
This complaint has been made by the Citizen Power Organization Against Bribery, Corruption and Waste.
The president of the association Mr. Jamuni Kammuni Thushara says in his complaint that it is highly doubtful that the Sri Lankan team lost a very low number of points in the final, and suspicious moments have arisen since the time the coin was won in this match.
He has asked to investigate whether the matches were rigged in the defeats of the Sri Lankan team in the previous 2003 and 1999 World Cups.
