Minister Basil Rajapaksa, who was the national organizer, states that the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna should work together to win with 51% or more in the upcoming elections.
In a meeting with the senior leaders of the party, he has indicated that the party should inform the MPs not to work in a way that promotes other parties in the campaign activities.
Mr. Basil Rajapaksa has said that he will further discuss the decisions taken by the party in consultation with the leader of the party, Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, and he has also mentioned that he will inform if further reforms are required.
A large number of party elders have participated in this discussion held at the Podujana Peramuna headquarters.
