According to Maharagama police, an investigation has been started to find the lover who raped and raped a fifteen-year-old schoolgirl who was in love with her through Facebook.
Police say that the schoolgirl is currently three months pregnant.
It is said that her father gave her a mobile phone about four months ago to study online.
Police say that while studying online, he opened a page on the Facebook page and recognized his friends, and started a romantic relationship with a friend identified in this way in a very short time.
The identified boyfriend said on several occasions that he needed to meet the schoolgirl alone, but he did not get a chance to do so, and the police investigation revealed that the student had come to a class in Maharagama on August 1st. It is said that the tutoring class was on holiday that day and after notifying the lover, the two met and then went to a house as per his request.
The police said that the student was molested there after staying there for three days.
In the meantime, the parents of the students had filed a complaint with the police and a few days later, the suspect came to her home with the schoolgirl.
It is said that due to the protest of the two parents of the student, the suspect went to a house in Handala Pamunwa area along with the student.
While staying there, after learning that the student was pregnant, the two had frequent arguments and the suspect assaulted the student on several occasions.
According to the police, the police stations in charge of the area where the minor girl was detained have been informed to arrest the suspect.
Regarding the incident, investigations have been carried out on the instructions of the Chief Inspector of Police, Station Commander of Maharagama Police.
