Member of Parliament S.M. Chandrasena says that there is no preparation to nominate Gotabaya Rajapaksa to contest the next presidential election.
Gotabaya Rajapaksa was nominated as the President last time by the People's Front, but he could not continue with the post, he said.
Therefore, there is no desire to nominate Gotabaya Rajapaksa once again from the People's Front, he added.
Addressing the media at the PPP headquarters, the Mp said that Gotabhaya Rajapaksa got 6.9 million votes not only due to the organizational strength of The People's Front but also Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa.
