Former State Minister Wasantha Senanayake has been appointed as the organizer of the Dandigama constituency of the United People's Party.
He met the leader of the party Sajith Premadasa and obtained the post of party membership and constituency organizer.
Accordingly, he is scheduled to contest the upcoming general election on a United People's Party ticket.
